Bertrand Piccard
PIONEER IN ITS GENES
Born into a legendary family of explorers and scientists who have conquered the stratosphere and the depths of the oceans, Bertrand Piccard is driven by the same passion.
He made history by achieving two great aeronautical “firsts”, his non-stop round-the-world balloon flight was the longest flight in the history of aviation, both in time and distance.
More recently, his circumnavigation of the globe aboard the Solar Impulse was the apotheosis of his pioneering vision.
Dorine Bourneton
ADVENTURER OF LIFE
The only survivor of a plane crash at the age of 16, Dorine found her freedom by flying.
Dorine represents this generation of women who brilliantly overcome the trials of life and come out of all challenges stronger. Her pioneering spirit, her passion for aviation, and her ability to take on any challenge will be assets for the SOLAR AIRSHIP ONE expedition.

Michel Tognini
ASTRONAUT COMMITTED
Former French astronaut with the European Space Agency (ESA), who flew 2 space missions (Soyuz and Columbia), Michel Tognini is also Air force fighter pilot, brigadier General and test pilot.
During his space travels, he realized the collective importance of defending our environment.
He will contribute his knowledge of piloting, as well as his experience of life on board in restricted space.
OUR SUPPORT TEAM
The World Tour is an expedition that is built not only around technology but also around people.
The operational part of this World Tour will be ensured by an experienced team, which has already excelled with Bertrand Piccard’s Solar Impulse project. Our ground support team will also be composed of experts in meteorology, overflight authorization, flight simulation, medical assistance, medical tests, and communication to make this adventure live all over the world.

It will provide 24/7 support, tactical assistance, choice of the best trajectory, in-flight maintenance and repairs if necessary.

Co-founder and President
Knight in the National Order of Merit, Jean has particularly evolved in the field of finance, takeover and creation of companies and their development in France and internationally. Leverage effect. Introduction to the stock market. Particularly attracted to difficult challenges, he negotiated and built mixed companies for the construction of industrial complexes, at the opening of China (1981), in the middle of the collapse of the former USSR (1991), in a closed India (1995)
Co-founder of the company Aerospace Adour Technologie, owner of the technology, before co-creating SAS Euro Airship, Jean has created the enthusiasm and involvement of many engineers and partners who have contributed to create 100M€ of value.
Cofounder
Air architect and aeronautical engineer, former student of the Ville d’Avray aeronautical school, enlisted in the French Air Force, instructor at the Rochefort Air Force School, then founder and President of the FIRST Association, Marc is the designer of efficient technologies for the reconstruction of rigid airships that proved their worth during the 1920s and 1930s.
A pragmatic architect, his designs use the latest technology available (avoiding the adventures of overly random designs and endless R&D), combined with the absolute necessity of their commercial effectiveness. He is one of the two founders of the company Aerospace Adour Technologie which are at the origin of the Euro Airship technology.
Managing Director
Marie-Christine holds a Master’s degree in Economics and is a graduate of HEC. After starting her career in large IT groups, Marie-Christine moved to the world of industry at the international level before managing subsidiaries of large groups.
Since 2016, Marie-Christine is 100% involved in the development of Euro Airship and will take over the presidency of the future Management Board.
Didier worked at Airbus for 20 years, where he held senior management positions before transitioning to service engineering, establishing the British subsidiary of Aeroconseil. As a multicultural engineer passionate about aeronautics, his career took him to numerous countries, including many years in the United Kingdom. He joined Euro Airship in 2023 to take on the challenge of leading a program with a unique global objective.
