Our challenge
A non-stop round-the-world tour from West to East flying close to the equator: more than 40,000 km to cover in 20 days at an average altitude of 6,000 meters!
Throughout history, all great dreams have been considered impossible… until they were accomplished. Behind each feat, explorers have invented the future by going beyond the boundaries of our certainties. They challenged the rules, and questioned the received ideas to discover new solutions…
Today, the adventure must continue with a great epic in the service of environmental protection and renewable energies, designed to create enthusiasm around the climate challenges of the 21st century.
This is the meaning of the SOLAR AIRSHIP ONE project which launches an extraordinary challenge: the first non-stop round-the-world flight without fuel.

40,000 km WITHOUT STOPPING
Developed by EURO AIRSHIP, this solar airship is able to fly without any noise, without fossil fuel, without carbon emissions, or without heavy infrastructure on the ground.
An unprecedented challenge
MORE THAN 25 COUNTRIES CROSSED
With a departure planned during 2026, SOLAR AIRSHIP ONE will fly over more than twentyfive countries, two oceans and several seas. India, China, Mexico, USA, Mauritania, Mali, France… the countries crossed will have the chance to see the future generation of airships.
TAKE PART IN THE ADVENTURE
The world tour of SOLAR AIRSHIP ONE will be a major media event. The crew will be in constant communication with schools, universities and governments of the countries flown over, as well as with international institutions.
This educational action will be relayed by the media, the social networks and a feature documentary.
